The J&L Oil Separator 3.0 is a simple preventative upgrade designed to help keep the 5.2L supercharged Raptor R’s intake system cleaner over time. During normal engine operation, crankcase pressure carries an oily vapor through the PCV system and back into the intake tract. On a high-output supercharged engine, keeping as much of that oil vapor as possible out of the intake, supercharger and related components is especially worthwhile.

J&L’s passenger-side separator intercepts this PCV vapor before it is routed back into the engine. A fine stainless steel mesh filter separates suspended oil from the air, allowing the collected fluid to fall into the 3-ounce catch can instead of continuing through the intake system.

The kit is designed specifically for the Raptor R and uses OEM-style quick-connect fittings for a clean, plug-and-play installation without permanently modifying the factory PCV system. The solid billet-aluminum construction and removable knurled reservoir also make routine draining quick and straightforward.
